Today’s show: Critter’s mid-career exhibition “Mid Career” is on view at Lump Gallery in Raleigh through Saturday, June 28. The exhibition features paintings and objects from series including SPF, Cancer, Loss Leaders, Perfect Religion, Thermostats, Artist’s Shit, Lisa, Stations, Inferior Quotations, God Bless America, Hillsborough Street, Art Show, This Lush Little Meadow, Luncheon, and more. The opening of “Mid Career” coincides with the publication of five books featuring new voices in the “Inferior Quotations” series. The titles include Oh No, Calls To Action, 3 Women, Untitled (Coyote), and Butterfly Love Letter. Skully Goo and Olivia Gone have taken over the bathroom and the Drawing Room with Nothing Can Happen.
